Fresh Fruit & Vegetable (FFVP)
The Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program (FFVP) is a grant funded program available in your student's elementary school.
Throughout this school year, the FFVP grant has provided our district the opportunity to introduce the following fresh fruits and fresh vegetables to our elementary students:
PE teachers share fun facts and nutrition information for each fruit and vegetable offered to the students.
*The goal of the FFVP is to introduce children in elementary school to fresh fruits and vegetables, to include new and different varieties, and to increase overall acceptance and consumption of fresh, unprocessed produce among children.
