Teacher Tribute Gifts made easy
Many parents wish to show their appreciation by offering a small gift after a special event, learning milestone, time of celebration, at the end of the school year, or any occasion to thank a special teacher or support person. These gestures are much appreciated by each teacher, secretary, bus driver, and teaching assistant!
Here is an alternative…a gift in the name of that special faculty or staff member to the Foundation.
The Teacher Tribute Program is a way for students and parents to honor teachers, while providing funding for enhancement and enrichment programs not in the school budget. In addition, it is a way to save you, a parent, time and trouble shopping for gifts. Your gift will be invested in schools through Sweetwater Public School Foundation efforts. The teacher or support staff member you choose to honor receives a thank you card explaining that your family donated funds to the Sweetwater One Public School Foundation in appreciation of their efforts. All Teachers honored through Teacher Tributes will also be recognized at the Foundation's Annual Open House listing each name on a poster.
