Camp F.E.A.T. - Great Outdoors

Education in the Great Outdoors

Camp F.E.A.T. offers four camps two for boys and two for girls that run concurrently in separate areas. The first two days of the camp are spent in town at Lincoln Elementary School where our facilitators work to educate campers on the essential outdoor skills needed for the trip. During this time we will help the campers prepare their packs and distribute the food and equipment. On day three, we will embark on our trip as the buses take us to the trailhead. The next 7 nights 8 days will be spent hiking through the Majestic Wind River Mountain Range and sleeping in tents under the stars. Campers will learn to select a campsite, set up their tents, cook their meals, and have plenty of time left over for fishing, photography, and other leisure activities. On the final day we will again be transported home to Lincoln Elementary School with an enormous sense of accomplishment.
